Rogue S starts with front-wheel drive and uses the 2.5L engine carried over from last year’s model. Nissan offers the 2022 Rogue in S, SV, SL (new for 2022), and Platinum trim levels. Accompanying the new engine is a revised continuously variable transmission (CVT) designed to take advantage of the engine’s added power.
The new three-cylinder uses the same variable compression technology found in the upscale Infiniti QX50.
